RGB Lights

Configure the RGB lighting fitted to supported devices. Choose a Mode to decide how the lights behave: leave them Off, take independent control over each lighting Zone, let your currently active theme choose the colours for you, or leave them to another application with External.

Which zones are available, and whether a device has RGB lighting at all, depends on the hardware fitted, so this screen will look different depending on your device.

Mode

Chooses how the lights are controlled. Off (the default) turns every zone off and hides the rest of this screen. Zone lists each lighting zone your device has, letting you set its colour and brightness independently. Theme hides the zone list and instead colours every zone to match whichever palette your currently active theme is using, leaving you with just an overall Brightness to set. External hands the lights over to another application, such as a community lighting tool. MustardOS then sends nothing to the lights at all, not even to turn them off, until you choose another mode.

Zone

Only shown in Zone mode. Every lighting zone your device has is listed here, for example Left Stick, Middle, or Shoulder L1 - press A on one to open its own colour and brightness screen.

Brightness

Only shown in Theme mode. Sets the overall brightness of the theme-supplied colours, from 0% to 100%.

Quick Tips

  • In Zone mode, press X to reset every zone back to Off and 100% brightness in one go.

  • Hold Y while in Zone mode for a surprise - it shuffles every zone to a random colour, just for fun.
