Pickles Menu
Pickles is MustardOS' integrated Libretro player. Its menus follow the active MustardOS theme and keep game settings, saves, controls, achievements and visual options in one familiar interface. Assign Pickles to a system, folder or title through Core Assignment when you want to use it.
Hold MENU and release it without pressing anything else to open the Pickles Menu while you play.
For an introduction to both valid core players, read the Pickles and RetroArch FAQ on the MustardOS Community Forum.

Visible Options
Game State
Save exactly where you are and pick it back up later, even in games that never had a save feature of their own. There is a quick slot, an automatic one, and plenty of numbered slots, each with a small screenshot so you can tell them apart. History can return you to a moment before a state was loaded, and Trash can restore a deleted state.
Network Play
Play together with someone else over your home network or the internet. One person hosts the game and the other joins it.
RetroAchievements
Optional challenges from RetroAchievements, such as finishing a level without dying. Sign in with your account to earn them and see how far along you are. This appears once an account has been set up.
Game Link
Play a compatible linked game over the network, through a wired Direct Link, or with two machines running side by side on this device.
Disc Control
Swap discs in games that came on more than one. Only appears when the game you loaded actually has extra discs available.
Patches
Turn on fan-made improvements that sit alongside your game, such as translations or bug fixes, without permanently changing the original file. Only appears when a matching patch is found.
Content Switch
Jump straight to another game or video from your history or collections without returning to Content Explorer. Each entry shows whether it opens in Pickles or Wasabi. Hidden during Network Play or Game Link.
Settings
Everything about how the game looks, sounds, and controls, plus how often your progress is saved.
Quick Tips
You can use the default MENU combinations for common actions without opening this menu. Every second button can be changed from Hotkey Buttons, and X Reset restores the defaults.
While two Game Boys are running on the one device, hold MENU and press A to swap which one your buttons control.
Not sure what a row does? Highlight it and tap MENU for a plain-English explanation of that exact item. The same works right through the Settings screens.
When you back out of Settings after changing something, choose This Content, This Core, This Directory, This Session Only, or Discard.
