Join Network

Connect to a game someone else is hosting. If you are both on the same home network, MustardOS can find their session for you. If they are somewhere else, they will need to pass you an address to type in.

Visible Options

Status

Whether you are connected, still trying, or waiting for the host to let you in.

Play Mode

Whether you get your own controller in the game or share one with the host. This normally follows whatever the host chose.

Find LAN Sessions

Look for games being hosted on the same home network as you, with no address to type in.

Join Found Session

Connect to whichever session you picked from the list of games found nearby.

Join by Address

Type in the address your friend gave you, for playing with somebody who is not on your network.

Confirm Pairing

Enter the short code the host gave you, if they set one up.

Connection

How quick the link between the two of you is, in milliseconds. Smaller numbers feel more responsive.

Quick Tips

  • Nothing showing under Find LAN Sessions? Check that the host has actually started their session, and that you are both on the same wireless network. A guest network keeps devices apart.
