Bookmarks

Bookmarks remember an exact position in the current video or audio item. Each named bookmark is shown with its playback time. Video bookmarks can include a clean thumbnail captured before visual effects and overlays are applied.

Visible Options

Load

Select a bookmark with A to continue playing from its saved position.

Save

Press Y to save the current position. The on-screen keyboard lets you give the bookmark a useful name.

Quick Bookmark

Use the assigned quick bookmark hotkeys to save or load one position without opening this screen.

Remove

Press X on a bookmark and confirm that you want to remove it.

Quick Tips

  • Bookmarks belong to the current media item, so a playlist keeps a separate set for each track or episode.

  • Audio bookmarks do not create a thumbnail.

  • Bookmarks are not shown for live television or radio because a live position cannot be restored reliably.
