Viewport Adjustment

Move, stretch, and zoom the game picture until it sits exactly where you want it. Each change happens live behind the menu, so you can watch the picture shift as you press left and right.

Visible Options

X Offset

Slide the picture left or right, one pixel at a time, up to half the width of your screen in either direction.

Y Offset

Slide the picture up or down, one pixel at a time, up to half the height of your screen in either direction.

X Stretch

Make the picture wider or narrower without moving it, growing evenly from the middle outwards. Useful for filling the last stubborn sliver of screen, or for pulling a slightly too-wide picture back in.

Y Stretch

Make the picture taller or shorter without moving it, growing evenly from the middle outwards.

Zoom

Scale the whole picture up or down at once, keeping its shape. Larger than 100% pushes some of the picture past the edges of your screen, so use it sparingly.

Quick Tips

  • Tap MENU on any row for a short explanation of what it does, and hold MENU instead to slide the menu out of the way and watch the game behind it.

  • Left and right move a setting one pixel at a time, which is perfect for the final tweak. Hold L2 or R2 instead to jump in steps of 16 when you have a long way to go.

  • Zoom keeps the shape of the picture. If a game already looks the right shape and is simply too small, reach for Zoom first.
