Visible Options

Show FPS

A small readout in the corner of the screen while you play. Simple shows just the frame rate, and Detailed adds the timings behind it, including how the slowest frames compare to the average. Can also be switched on and off mid-game with the MENU+Y hotkey.

Current Playtime

A running timer in the corner showing how long you have been playing. It tucks itself away while the Pickles Menu is open.

Header Visibility

Choose whether the header overlay shows None, just the Clock, just the Battery, or Clock + Battery while playing. Can also be cycled mid-game with the MENU+X hotkey.

Idle in Game

Whether leaving the game alone brings up the screensaver, opens the Pickles Menu and makes an idle auto save. Disable it for games with long cutscenes. The screensaver still works in the MustardOS menus, and sleep still follows your power settings.

Quick Tips

  • Tap MENU on any row for a short explanation of what it does, and hold MENU instead to slide the menu out of the way and watch the game behind it.

  • These readouts sit above the game image and never affect the content itself.
