Interface Options

Customise the appearance and behaviour of the frontend itself. These options control what visual elements are shown, how content names are formatted, and how navigation details appear within the Explore Content and Collection menus.

Adjusting these settings allows you to refine your experience without altering user files or data.

Visible Options

Battery

Toggle the visibility of the battery indicator glyph in the frontend header. Useful for users who prefer a cleaner interface or are using devices without a battery(?).

Clock

Toggle the visibility of the clock display in the frontend header. Disabling it can create a more minimal interface if time information feels unnecessary to you.

Network

Toggle the visibility of the network connection glyph. Ideal for offline users who do not need to see Wi-Fi or network indicators.

Content Name Scheme

Adjust how content names are displayed without renaming actual files. You can remove extra details inside [ ] or ( ), or show full names as is.

Content Dash Replacement

Replaces dashes (-) with colons (:) in displayed content names. Helps clean up titles and create more readable labels.

Friendly Folder Names

Replaces shortened or system like folder labels with more descriptive, human friendly names. For example, SMS turns into SEGA Master System.

Display Title Reformatting

Moves the word "The" to the front of content titles. For example, converts "Batman and Robin, The" into "The Batman and Robin".

Title Include Root Drive

Displays the current storage device name alongside the folder title at the top of the Explore Content screen.

Folder Item Count

Shows or hides the number of items inside each folder when browsing in Explore Content.

Empty Folders

Toggles visibility of empty folders in Explore Content. Useful for cleaning up navigation views.

Menu Counter Folder

Displays the index and total count of folders (for example, "3 / 15") while navigating through content folders.

Menu Counter File

Displays the index and total count of files (for example, "12 / 78") within a folder when browsing.

Show Hidden Content

Toggles visibility of hidden files and folders. Files beginning with . or _ are hidden by default.

Collection In Content

Toggle the visibility of collected content within Explore Content that is already part of one or more collections. You can also hide just the glyph representation.

History In Content

Play some content and toggle the visibility within Explore Content. Removing the item from history will place it back into the content list.
